What Dahab is
“Dahab” means gold in Arabic — and it’s a slow town on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, where the coffee is served small and strong. We took the name and the feeling and pointed it at a wider table: Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern flavours cooked from scratch, a strong local coffee, and a room that’s easy to sit in for an hour.
